Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). In the 1980s her role was one of the leading on the television show Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall is well-known as an actress who's role as Samantha Jones in the popular HBO television sitcom Sex & The City marked a pivotal point for her career. She's best known as the actress in La Dolce Vita in the film comedy drama. It was a critical and commercial success and won both the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. The beginning of her acting career came with her becoming a fashion designer in Skane. She ultimately won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. In the US She began appearing in movies with minor roles. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as an Venusian. The following year she was an unknown for the film Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most likely category.
